This week will be a special one in Liam's story for two reasons now. It was the anniversary of the day he was found by authorities and today we found out that China has issued our letter of acceptance.
These last 58 days we have been waiting on the acceptance letter had been painfully long. The waiting was difficult. But we waited with hope. We knew that it was being worked on and about when it was expected to be completed. Liam has been a "waiting child" for much longer though and he has been waiting without hope. Sometime this week he was told that the wait is almost over and hope of a family is coming.
Today I wrote him a letter and sent pictures to be assembled in a photo book for him. What do you say? I wanted him to know that we loved him and that we were on our way. I want him to know that we are preparing a place for him in our family. Hopefully soon a cake and some treats from us will be delivered and he will know that someone is thinking about him.
Please pray with us that the rest of this process goes quickly and smoothly. Pray that Liam's heart is ready to join our family and that physically it stays strong.
